    discharged but still waiting

I received my discharge on 5/25 (Joint Chapter 7 - No assets).
Approx 1 month before my discharge, my trustee filed an objected to my exemptions (said they were too low) even though I did run over our states allowance on some personal items knowing I would either have to buy them back or lose them.I listed an old boat valued at $1400.00 that I do not plan to keep in the buy back.

Within days of my receiving the the objection, I received a notice from the US Dept of Justice requesting additional information which the I sent them.
The next thing I received was my discharge paper.
Pacer states "awaiting closing" and nothing new has happened since the day after discharge.

I have not heard any more from the regular trustee since the objection. I am confused. Being it was turned over to the Dept of Justice and they reviewed everything, did they like over rule the regular trustee on the objection of my exemptions or what? Is he going to come back like a bad dream when I least expect it? Are they still coming after my slight overages on my personal exemptions (PLEASE come get the boat LOL! It hasn't run in 4 years).

I would really appreciate any help here if anyone knows what is likely to happen next or am I done & just waiting for it to be closed?

I would not put a lot of stock in Pacer. A lot of people are reporting Pacer has not been updated due to the large number of people filing. As a matter of fact yesterday (7/1) was our discharge date and we haven't heard anything. Obviously what you submitted to the Dept of Justice was sufficient; they are the last word; i.e., the U.S. Trustee. If I understand you correctly, the BK trustee was the one who objected to the low exemptions and the U.S. Trustee has authority over that person. If you have already received your discharge papers I would not stress about it. Pacer will eventually catch up.
