And if we are taking a poll, I think $3100 a month is a lot.
Then again, we are living off $1512 gross a month. And that is with a house payment and 2 teens.

There are 4 in my family(me, hubby, teen son, teen daughter), there is no way I would be able to make it on 1512$. You deserve major kudos for that.

A lot depends on where you live.
I can make it here in NE Ohio. (think way east of Cleveland)
There is no way someone could make it some place like NY or CA.
It is amazing how much the cost of living varies from place to place in this country.

we live here in FL with a family of 4, very expensive to live her versus Northern IN where we are from. Food is especially expensive here in FL for some reason.
