I'm Having A Hard Time Filing!! Help!!

Hello Gang....

It's Pretty Much Time To File. I Thought I Would Be Excited To Get The Load Off Of My Shoulders And Get On With Life. I Am Having A Very Dificult Time Signing My Retainer, And Sending My Check In. It Has Been Sitting On My Desk For Three Weeks.

Has Anyone Ever Experienced This Type Of Anxiety?

It Is Really Tough For Me. Maybe I Think It's Going To Start Raining $100 Dollar Bills On Top Of My House Or Something....then I'll Say "wow Glad I Didn't File Yet."

You will feel more weight lifted after you sign the papers compared to where you stand right now. You are at the tip of the iceberg. You still have the petition, 341 meeting and the LOOOONG dreaded wait as you check PACER to see if any objections come across. Then once you passed that hurdle you are under a microscope with the US Trustee until discharge.
So trust me when I say this. I feel more relaxed now having the elephant off my shoulder than the day before I filed!

Whatever you do, it will be the right choice!

Took me so many months (about 7), which for me also meant 25 pounds. I wish I did it sooner. I thought something magical was going to happen like I was going to get on deal or no deal. They didn't call me. I thought maybe I would have a long lost relative that would die and leave me their fortune. She/he never called. I though maybe I could start a website asking for donations. I didn't start it. I just filed and forgot about it. Nothing really changes. The only positive thing is that I have a brand new car which should last me for my mourning period of 2 years.

If I didn't have a car I would be riding around in buckets, but I would get by. Just do it. Stop the pain!
