Well, thanks guys for the infor. I kept checking pacer with no trustee infor. I then checked the voice system after your advice and it gave me the trustees name and the time of the "first" (I guess the 341) meeting.

It stated it was a no assest case, is that a good sign? can they changes this later. I have no house but have "stuff" that I was able to cover with all my exemptions.

Should I send the trustee the last 2 months paystubs, post filing credit cert, and tax return now? or wait to hear from the trustee.

The trustee can change your case to ASSET after your 341. Mine said no asset up until the 341 - it was switched to asset due to my engagement ring and my tax return, and it has now been switched back to no asset b/c the value of my ring and tax return wasn't enough for the trustee to want to pursue.

You should be okay if you were able to cover all of your stuff with exemptions. Although, I was able too as well but my trustee questioned the value of my ring and she took it and had it appraised herself after I refused to.

I would wait to hear from the trustee before you send him/her anything.

WOW, your trustee. Well, my wife did have a ring but it was lost when she was 9 months pregnant, swallen finger thing. Took it off and down the toilet, no insurance!

The Trustee should contact you either personally or through your lawyer as to what he requires.

If you have not done so though I'd gather up the stuff.

PRO SE, I have all bank statements, tax returns, and paystubs. I also have utility bills, I pay 500. a month or more for heating, but CB says that 400 for all utilities in my area is the max. They must be on crack.

If you use kerosene or heating oil those bills are much higher this past winter than previously, you could use that as reasoning.

I'd go ahead and contact the trustee and ask what additional materials he needs for the case. Though most will mail you about a week or so before the 341 being proactive can help smooth the road.

Yeah last year I paid around 700 dollars for my k-1, this year it was 1067, paid the bill last Monday.

I have delmar power. It is all electric. the average electric bill in my town is 650. The state of marylabd deregulated the prower companies and the prices went up 75%.

The sad thing is that I have my temp set to 67 degrees. If it was 73 or more. I sure my bill would be 650.

Since your bankruptcy petition was just filed, it's indicating that you are a no asset case because you must have checked on your petition that you don't believe there will be any non-exempt assets to be distributed to creditors. When you initially file, they just go off what you said on your petition -- then as the trustee reviews it and gets into it, they can switch what you said.

That being said, if everything you have is covered by exemptions, you will stay a no asset case -- unless the trustee can fight you that all your assets are exempt.

Almost, just fyi you file the post-filing debt ed certificate with Form 23 at the courthouse, just like you did your original bk filing.

The tax returns, paystubs, and whatever else the trustee asks for you submit straight to the trustee, usually by mail or in person at the 341.

As a pro se filer myself, if I were in your shoes I'd call the trustee's office and ask his staff for a list of required documents, if you do not hear from him first by, say, the end of next week. That will give you enough time to collect everything and send it to him, or have it ready for the 341.

I probably don't have to tell you this, but just in case... NEVER give originals. Make photocopies of everything. I made a set for him, and a set for me (just in case, which is also what I brought to the 341). Didn't need it, though, happily enough. Hope this helps.

Yes Freshlikeadaisy is does help, thank you. I just got a notice with a different 342 date than on the voice recording. I also see that I need to file the post Credit class on that form you mentioned. I took the class on friday on line with hummingbird. 2 long hours, LOL.
