READY TO FILE! 70/90 day rule questions

I am finally ready to file.

I am not sure about the 70/90 day rule.

I last used two cards on 1/29/08 for Misc gas and home depot expenses. They were minor and may have totalled a few hundred dollars. The cars are current and I will pay them again this month.

I absolutely do not want to wait to file, but what are your suggestions? I want to file by 4/15

4/29/08 would be 90 days since last charge. What does the 70 day stuff mean?

    Please advise.

70/90 is just a guideline ensuring you aren't showing abuse. A couple hundred shouldn't matter...I built one of my cards up 7K prior to 90 days before filing, getting cars serviced, doctor appts, groceries. They still came back asking for that all back; however, I countered with a 3K settlement which was accepted.

movingon-thanks for the info. Yeah, I hear you. I blew the cards up in Dec fixing my house.

I wonder what they will say or ask for. Did you pay them a lump sum or pay over time?
