can't find all of my statements...

You can tell I'm new here. I feel like a kid in a candy store with all of my questions and all of you wise people out there!

i'm trying to get together all of my paperwork for the attorney. I don't have statements from some creditors b/c I haven't made payments is so long, the accounts are charged off and they stopped sending statements.

If I don't have statements (just have account numbers) will they look at that as I have destroyed documents or something?

    Don't worry about it.

Generally, to find old accounts in a situation like yours, the attorney will (should) pull a credit report. The attorney just wants the statements in order to accurately identify your creditors so he can properly fill out the petition.

Yeah don't worry about it, had the same problem. Basically as HHM says your attorney will ask for a credit report. You can find the lost accounts on them.
