Private College

Hi there,
My bankrupcty was just discharged June 1st. I just got a letter from a collection agency called M.G Credit stating that I need to pay them $3200 for not completing classed that I attended while going to a private college. It is not connected to any of the student loans that I am currently paying back. My question is that is there any way I can add this into my bankruptcy? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the debt to the college arose before you filed Bankruptcy, you can file a motion to reopen you bankruptcy case and add this creditor. You may need to explain why you didn't know about the debt, but nonetheless, you can reopen if you need to.

As for specifically how to do it, you will need to speak to an attorney in your area.
