Do Not Use This Law Firm!!!

Im in the process of filing for Chapter 7. I'm using a company called Bancrupcy First Law firm of Wisconsin.

Has anyone heard of them or used them.

I've already paid for the entire process, and they have all of my information including my credit report. However, it's all done over the internet and through emails. I haven't yet spoken to an acutal attorney, just his secretary.

Things seem to be getting a bit fishy. Like I sent an email to the attorney himself, then recieved an email back from him but it was signed his secretary.

Also, I can't get them on the phone since I paid.

I'm just wondering if anyone has used them or know of anyone.

I'm just trying to make sure this is a legitamate company and I'm not being screwed!

    Thanks
    Elissa

I've never heard of this "company" before. How much did they charge you to prepare your petition? Why didnt you just pay a local attorney to work-up your petition? You would've had slightly more peace of mind.

    Good Luck!

I paid $499 for them to prepare it.

I am currently living out of the county and couldn't just hire an attorney from London, England. All the attorneys I inquired with told me to just wait until I moved back, but with the new law coming up about Chapter 7, I couldn't wait. So, this was my only option.

Do Not Use This Law Firm!!!

I'm posting this as a warning to anyone searching for firms to handle their bankruptcy cases.

I recently obtained a law firm called Bankruptcy First Law Firm aka National Sentry Corporation They are based out of Utah but handle any cases as they claim to have supporting lawyers from any state.

This company is a fraudulant company and have people working for them that claim to be attorneys, but really, are not.

I paid $499.99 for petition to be file and $209.00 for court fees. This money is long gone and I will never see it again.

This company has sent fraudulant emails to me from the "attorneys" and have failed to return phone calls, or do anymore work on my case. After numerous email attempts to reclaim my money, nothing has happened.

I've since filed a complaint with the Utah Bar, giving them all of the fradulant emails, phone logs, things like that. I am also going to contact the police as this is fraud.

Please stay away from this company, as they are NOT legitament!!!!
