No letter from trustee?

Saw this on another thread and thought I'd ask here....

I didn't receive a direct letter from my trustee.....I received what I would call a "general" letter, explaining where my meeting is at, what time, and to bring my ss card and dl.

Do you normally get a letter from your trustee, requesting tax returns and such? My lawyer has all of our paperwork. I didn't get anything requesting anything be mailed back to my trustee....

Am I missing something?

If they want something they will mail you and cc your attorney. You should get your 341 notice and another letter saying you've complied with the filing requirements. Once you get the letter saying you've complied then you should be all set, unless something comes up at 341.

I only received letter of when my meeting was scheduled for. That's about it. 341 was a breeze.

That's what I had too, just a general letter. I assume if the Trustee wants more they'll let you know.

wow, I was told to mail a copy of my 2007 tax return to the trustee. I think it is because my wife is self employed and it is the only way to confirm her income. Be nice if we were in and out in two minutes.

My lawyer had gotten my tax returns and sent them to the trustee, not all do that though. So figure on carrying it if your lawyer doesn't send it to the trustee.
