I had my 341 meeting today

Just wanted to post my experience because I always like to read other peoples experiences...Ours was long and we had the US Trustee present. Our attorney said he was there because we were so close income wise and it is a complicated CH7 as we are over the median and I also have some real estate property tied up in a LLC not to mention assets over the exemption so it lasted about 30 minutes plus. Florida exemptions are awful ! The trustee had not had lunch and seemed grumpy and really tried to give people a hard time I thought. The US trustee was much more easy going. Anyway we were grilled but our attorney said we did fine because we had documentation to back everything up. I was very nervous and had a bad case of cotton mouth LOL but in the end I feel pretty good because we answered everything honestly and now it's a matter of waiting and seeing what happens. It is what it is ! I am not going to check pacer until next week as I am emotionally spent. I'm soooooooooooo glad that it was concluded and this part is over. I will be having the biggest party ever when we get a discharge !!

your experience let me see that every 341 meeting doesn't end in 5 minutes. it helps me to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. i like that you said you answered honestly. that will be my approach also.

Sunshine..I saw on your other post that you lost your stimulus? That is a real shame! It just doesn't seem right to be able to do that. It does sound like you did pretty well given the circumstances, though. Keep your head up and pat yourself on the back, you made it through your 341!!
