i see you need to take a bk class before this all goes thru and was looking in to if I should take the class before or after getting a lawyer..would it look better one way or the other or does not matter...just want to look the best but yall all ready know what im talking about on that..

Go to the lawyers first. Many lawyers seem to recommend particular agencies or have particular deals.

For example, the fee for my attorney includes the cost of the pre-class and the post-filing class. But he only has specific agencies that I can take the classes from. Another attorney I met (whom I'm not hiring) had an entirely different and specific agency she wanted me to go to for counseling.


So go to lawyer first.

Technically you can take whatever class you want as long as its certified.
But some attorneys do strongly suggest you take the one they want you to take (kickbacks, maybe?)...
I'd wait. It's no big deal - takes maybe half an hour.
We did cricketdebt.com and it was very easy. At least on this one you do NOT need to give highly accurate info about your debt, just estimates. And the phone call afterwards is nothing, they just want to know that you were really there and really took the test, but the questions they ask you are basic stuff, not anything hard.
