341 Done!

Today was our 341 meeting. I was nervous as all get out. We were about the 4th case called up - he asked the standard questions, when asked about tax refunds, I said we did get the stimuls check, he asked the ammt (1800) asked if we had kids and that was it! Whole thing took maybe 5 minutes. I feel SO much better. Our attorney was excited, because we expected questions about the house & some property we sold since filing. We had a REALLY nice trustee.

Now I keep my fingers crossed we get that "no asset" seal of approval & we just wait till 7/7 for a discharge.

Congrats Ndebt! Yeah, the 341 can be intimidating at first, but the hardest part of ours was hearing that our tax return and possibly our stimulus check were going to be taken. Welcome to the 60 day club!

Nope - he didn't, just moved on after asking the ammt & if we had kids (I assume to confirm that part of the stimulus was because of them).

I asked our attorney on the way out and he said to hold on to it for a couple days, but he thinks we are safe! I'll be happy when I see that "no asset" email from my attorney!

Congratulations and your lucky your trustee was nice I wish ours had been...The US trustee was so that more than made up for her attitude.
