    Debt Ed Certificates...need some advice.

We are done with our 341, we completed our debt ed and I emailed the certificates to the paralegal (at the request of our attorney at the 341). The problem is, they aren't showing up on Pacer as being filed. I am just worried that we have gotten this far and then this will be the thing that slips through the cracks. My question is, can I email the certificates directly to someone? I know the trustee has signed off, so who would I send them to? Also, would doing this be a problem since I am using an attorney? Thanks to all for your help.

    Okay don't panic

    When was your 341?

When did you email the cert to the paralegal?

It is possible the office is swamped and they've just not gotten it up there yet. If you think something may have happened you could send a email or call the paralegal and ask them to make sure they got the email and didn't overlook it.

Don't check PACER but in the evening, it is updated only once per day.

our 341 was 5/1 and we sent them to the paralegal the following week. It's only been a week but the paralegal is not so good at responding to emails or even reading them. I know they are swamped...I'll try to be patient. I was just thinking I could send it to the appropriate person and then I would KNOW it had been done. I'm a Type A, can you tell.

We had a similar occurrence with an affidavit required in our case. The attorney had me send it to his office. It needed to be filed by the 45th day. On the 45th day, it hadn't been filed yet. Couldn't reach his office by phone. Called the bankruptcy court, they had me call the bankruptcy judge's assistant, who told me to file them myself down at the courthouse (which was doable across town for me). I would just keep on them until it gets close to the deadline. And close to the deadline they need to be filed by, I'd call the court and ask how to proceed.
