In May of 2007 (before even thinkin of ch 7), we sold an old farm use grain truck to my step dad for fair market value $1500. The truck was sold as is because it does not run. We lost the title I'm guessing when we moved in 2005, and never filed for lost title since it was just sitting. He has since taken the truck apart for parts, so there isn't even a truck left.
We have a bill of sale, but since the title is still in our name somewhere, will this hurt us in any way when we file? What can they do to us about this?
