good morning all, i was wondering if anyone knew of a finance company in sc that will refinance your mortgage while you are in a bk or do you have to wiat until you are discharged. thanks for all inputs!!
You have to wait until discharge. You cannot take out any new credit while your bankruptcy is pending.
Also, good luck getting a refi even after bankruptcy, you generally should wait 1-2 years. Any refi you would get immediately out of bankruptcy would be such a horrible deal, that it wouldn't be worth it.
thanks hhm, i agree it would not be good. i think i will wait on even attempting that for a couple of years. well my 341 meeting is scheduled for the end of august... i can not wait to get through all this mess and start my life off to a much better start credit wise!!!
