I retained an attorney today!

After meeting with over 4 attorney's I have finally chosen one and we retained his services today. He's really nice and has a lot of experience. He gave us a nice packet that great information, including a timeline for the BK process. He also gave us a huge workbook to fill out. It's all the information about our salary, assets, creditors, etc. This will take a while.

I'm just relieved the searching is over.

Plus, he said to tell any creditors to contact him. So far none have called, but its nice to know he'll tackle that for me when the time comes.

Welcome and congrats! Having an attorney willing to field all calls is a huge relief, atleast it was for us! Have fun with the paperwork! Took me almost a month to get it all done, enjoy the day, we went out for dinner, valentines day after we hired our attorney and celebrated!

Congratulations ! I know it's a huge relief when you finally find the one you like Been there, done that..Take your time filling out information and collecting everything. Once you get that done the attorney pretty much handles everything else.

Although we still have a ways to go I can't believe how much my stress level has improved since we took the plunge. Good luck !!
