    a new owner will pay in the first full fiscal year of ownership

    above is copy/pasted from a county tax site where they got my name and the address of a property that got foreclosed, and u know... my chapt 7 got discharged in feb this yr-
    anyhow,
    i emailed a county rep and said i need to actually call them because i informed that it's sold and not mine.

    what should happen... what course of action do i need to take to make sure the amount i owe in their system gets cleared....? thanks

    The property taxes were overdue in February when my mobile home got repossessed. My attorney told me not to pay those taxes at this point since he said property taxes follow the home, so it's no longer my responsibility.
    04/04/08- Notice of deficiency balance due from a repo. 04/18/08- Fico scores w/repo listed: EXP 624, TRAN 610, EQU 610. 04/19/08- Found this forum. 04/24/08- Retained attorney for a chapter 7, filing singly. 5/5/08- Turned in bk paperwork to atty. 5/27/08- Date set for reviewing paperwork.

      i wonder... if my name will be removed someday in their system as a person who's responsible...... soon i hope. the bank foreclose sale this month maybe, so... hopefully eventually the owner rec. is to be removed... yet the county rep asked that i call them ...i shouldnt call them after all... then
