Security Deposit on Rent before 341

My husband and I are worry warts lately about this whole process.

We filed last week, and the day of the filing, we also put down a security deposit on a rent to own home. Will this be looked down upon at our 341 meeting? Are you asked to bring your bank statements to the 341 meeting?

Another concern I have is on our car Lease through Honda. Our lawyer said that they received a request for a move to surrender the car. Has anyone had this happen? I was hoping to reaffirm my lease.

Another question/concern. I am an elementary school teacher in the city I live. I don't want anyone finding out about our bankruptcy. Can they find out? I am concerned they will find out through the house. We are wanting to surrender the house before/right after discharge. Does this stop foreclosure? Has anyone done this before? What happens to house after bankruptcy? Does it go on the market as a bank sale?

Last question... my father co-signed on my student loans. I am not discharging them and am current on the payments. Will he receive any info. during the automatic stay period?

Bankruptcy is a public record, and some cities actually publish them in the paper.

We rented a place 2 months ago, and will be filing next month. When they look at the bank statements they will see the big checks that were written for that.
