I have converted from a chapter 13 to a chapter 7 after 5 months. I do want to keep my car that was filed on the Ch 13, but now am 1240 behind on the car. I calle dand talked to GMAC and they said unless I pay in full they can not gaurantee the they will not come take the car. My dad will catch it up for me, but I know I am not allowed to pay any one creditor over a certain amount of money or that will make my filing go down the drain. If I pay like 300 per month for the next 3 months and then catch it completely up will I be in trouble or if my dad actually writes the check out of his account is that bad. I really need some advice here. This is my only mode of transportation to work and if I lose it I will lose EVERYTHING.
