341 Continued? Which trustee?

hello, I posted this under my other thread but its of topic and im not getting any responses, anyways on Pacer we now have a continuation of our 341 for June 30th. Do you think this is just because of the US trustee reveiwing our case in 3 weeks? It was filed by the local trustee today not the US trustee, its reason says for "more information". Does this mean we wont get our "no asset" designation in the next few days. What does this mean for discharge? Is that continued too? They had a lot of questions about a 401k loan that we had taken out in June of 07, I think this is what thats about but not really sure. The part that confuses me is that it was filed by the local trustee not the US trustee. We have not heard anything from US trustee hes only appeared through our lawyer or the Local trustee who complaind he was giving him a hard time about us being a 7. Any insight on this let me know. I read your other thread. I wish I could help you more, but in my opinion, your own trustee is good news. Perhaps he just wants to make sure all is well so that he does not look bad to the U S Trustee. I hear it is good that you don't hear from the U S Trustee, but I never except in my 341 ever spoke to my Trustee. We had a continuation to 90 days due to the fact that we were over our limit and have to purchase our own stuff back at 450 month for one year. That is OK as long as we prevail. We need a break. Usually, if the case is continued for more information, the trustee would have told you at the 341 meeting what information to get. A continuation does not affect the time line of discharge or the objection period. However, I find it odd that the case would be continued yet you have no insight as to why.

Yes I think that is odd too but really I have no idea right now. They did have a lot of questions about a 401k loan from early June 2007. Could that give us any trouble? They were debating about $40 in childcare for a 12 year old, but thats real. We live way out in the country can't see another house from ours and he was really freaking out on dark mornings and leaving ever light in the house on. Calling us very upset because he thought someone was in the driveway. A before school care would be a lot more then $40 a week and the neighbor comes down at 6:50 and leaves when he gets on the bus at 8:10. She makes sure our house is locked up and the lights are all off. Thanks for your insight. Dragonnfly
