My niece is filing BK7. She has a car that is co-signed by her mom (my sis in law). My niece is planning on keeping the car. Payment on this car has never been late. Will this affect the co-signers credit? (I told sis in law I would post for her and find out.) Thanks for any information!

It shouldn't. But your sis-in-law should monitor her credit to make sure no mistakes are made. If a mistak is made, then she can dispute it with the Credit Reporting Agencies. -
