    Home not reaffirmed - questions

I was discharged back in early 2006 and didn't reaffirm my home mortgage. I have continued to make payments just as before the BK (I was never late then and haven't been since).

My question - I would like to start paying extra on the mortage, but since it is technically listed as discharged in the BK, would they accept the extra payments? Should I try to refinance this loan? I don't want to shell out extra money if, in the end, it won't amount to anything.

Of course they'll accept extra payments.
As to a re-fi-arethe terms of the new loan better that what you have? That would be the way to decide if a re-fi is a good idea.

The debt is discharged. The security interest (lien) survives.
