I am filing chapter 7, paid my attorney in full 2 weeks, ago, this is the first month I stopped paying my credit cards, I did use one or 2 for groceries and gas in May but I made a payment since then. I didn't purchase any luxury items I only used them to pay bills or buy food. I would like to file at the end of the month, or do I need to wait 90 days since last usage? My attorney said it shouldn't be a problem as long as it was for grocery or gas, I did pay some utility bills I think in April on one of the credit cards. I have heard you have to wait 90 days and then I heard you don't have to if you used the credit card for necessities.

If they were small charges, you should be okay.
If you don't have any big balance transfers or cash advances in the past 3-6 months you should be good to go.
They will only file an objection on amounts of $5-10k that were taken out 3-6 months before, usually not even then.<<I am NOT an attorney, my comments are anecdotal only. Contact an attorney for advice>>
FINALLY DISCHARGED 92 DAYS AFTER THE 341!
A NEW START!!!
