One week to go and I feel so anxious !!

Here it is nearing the end of the nightmare and I am driving myself crazy with the worry. The past 53 days since the 341 have been pretty smooth but now I'm so ANXIOUS to get it over with, I can't stand it !!!! Even though the trustee still hasn't changed us to asset I fully expect she will so even with a discharge it won't be fully over just yet.

I really needed to vent !! I could use a glass of wine to calm myself down right now

I'm happy to hear you are near the end of the tunnel. This will be great when you can come out on the other end and all around you is light.

I feel little guilty telling you some bk courts are apparently behind in completing their paperwork and behind in issuing discharges. So you might not receive notice in 60 days. Apparently the volume of cases is (surprise, surprise) up this year. A number of people on this board are past 60 days. In any event, I'm sure your case will turn out well.

Thank you for the kinds words Phillyman I happen to be in one of the busiest districts in the US so your probably right. I am going to go out of town for the 4th of July weekend and I am thinking extending it into next week might do me good ( taking vaca that week and of course no $$ to really travel this year haha )

Try to have a good vacation and forget about the BK courts. Also, the 4th of July week and weekends are typically slow times for everybody as many people try to take off that time of year.

When your deadline comes and goes, I will toast you with a glass of white zin.....

Save a glass of wine for me too. I'm in day 55 and I'm on pins and needles too. Everything has gone smoothly so far so I don't expect any surprises.

Hopefully when we return to work after the 4th of July weekend, we'll have some good news. I don't have money for travel either with gas at $4 a gallon, but a simple backyard BBQ is all I have planned. It's less stressful that way. Good luck to us both sunshine.

I'm right there with you guys. Our discharge is in 2 weeks, so I'm a week behind you, and I'm so nervous. I just want to get the discharge papers in my hand and begin my life over.

I think whatever stage of bankruptcy you're in, you'll worry.

For me, I was first worried about filing, then I was worried about objections before the 341, then I was worried about the actual 341, then it moved onto worrying about objections AFTER the 341...Now, I just want to be discharged...Give me the damn paper already!!!! I'm about to have an ulcer over here!!!

I think whatever stage of BK your in you need a glass of wine!!! We finally got our no asset designation and in our flags it says awaiting discharge!! Yeah. I wish I was at 53 days, but not quite yet. More like 30. Darn. Now I started counting the days. I had avoided that so far. I guess the 1/2 way point is a good time to start counting. See this is why I love this forum !! It's so nice to be able to communicate with people in the same situation and know they are going through the same thing.

Today was better but I'm still wondering when the trustee is going to declare us asset !! Day 55 and still no word on that. I can't wait to have those drinks with you all !!

I can't wait. When this is over, I'm buying a round of drinks for all of us to celebrate. Okay well maybe not because I'm broke, but it's the thought that counts.
