I was worried about my expenses and so was he. He was like phone to high,clothing to high,electricty to high. He is like this will take some work. He bumped food to 550 and other things up. I was kind of nervous and said isn't this a bit extreme and won't the question it. He stated they never question these things and everything is fine. You are done. He informed to get a letter stating some stock options I have a worthless and stop paying my bills. I am so nervous about this situation. Just stop paying everything? He seemed like it was no big deal i used my cards in the last two months and had book cash advances in april. I am quite scared but I guess he knows what he is doing.

Completely feeling you on the nervousness ... I met with an attorney today for a free consultation - I meet the requirements for chapter 7, but he made it sound so easy. I've been using my cards up until a week ago when I decided to file, he says it's a non-issue (they've been used for gas and food). He's also coming in pretty cheap from the stuff I've read on this board (810), talk about nervous. He said also stop paying - I've been paying for 5 years, it's a weird feeling!

I hope you plan on paying your utilities, etc or your going to be in the dark. Surely your lawyer told you to pay your basic expenses?? And house payments if you plan on keeping your home??

Bankruptcy is hard on anyone who files it! It is frustrating, nerve wrecking, and affects you mentally, physically, financially, and emotionally. But you survive it!!
