How do you report bonus income on means test?

If you get a bonus once a year how do you report it on means test? Do you break it down over a 12 month period? If I do it shows disposable income monthly but I don't really have it KWIM?

Can the trustee redirect what you do with your bonus if you are using it to pay a home equity loan when you get the lump sum?

I know they use your 6 months income but what if it's not indicative of what you are earning now. I worked overtime and so did dh and we have checks for 2 and 3,000 from the month before we got hurt. Now the checks are way less but this probably put us over the means by alot.

The 6 months look includes whatever you got paid, regardless if it is OT that you don't always get or the bonus.

We had one month on our look back that we had 5500 more income than we normally get. Even without that one month, we were still over median.

At what point does this income get taken for what it was? Do we have to pay based on something we no longer get? (overtime)
THat money is long gone and we don't get overtime anymore, that doesn't matter though does it?

Then maybe you should wait until the OT is off the 6 mth look back. We didn't wait until the 5500 was off, because we wanted to file in June. We were willing to take whatever they told us, C7 or C13.
