    Question about case closed?

Checked on Pacer for my girlfriends status on her case and it says case closed as of 7/25/05. She was discharged late june of this year. Now my question is can the case still be reopened?

I think that they can re open it for 1 year. But Im betting that its pretty rare They wouldn't do that unless they had a good reason because it would cost them time and money. Sounds like She made it Congrats!!

Also say you win some money after your case is closed do you have to tell the court that since your case is closed or ?

Her case can be re-opened up to one year after the discharge date. But rarely happens from what I've seen and heard. They usually got to have a very good reason cause it does cost them time and money.

In the case of "winning the lottery". WELL, one things for sure, I wouldn't broadcast it!! Keep you picture out of the paper, lol.

If the trustee should find out about it, well, better be honest with him.... but don't think they do anything anyways, that's all "after the fact"....the case is closed.
You would have to "win a bundle"....

              Good luck

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
