Our 341 will be in lated July.

When do we find out what to bring to our meeting? My attorney sent me all my schedules, and the bank statements that I provided to him. I do need him to make some adjustments unfortunately (grrr) Is there a timeframe that he needs to make the amendments by? Do I need to take all of this to the meeting or will the trustee send me a list of what to bring closer to the meeting?

We did our financial management course and I suppose I will e-mail the certificate to our attorney and take copies to the 341 as well just in case he doesnt send it in within a timely manner.

I feel like we are coming down the stretch. The feelings of anxiety come and go. We are looking forward to our fresh start. I must say that even thought the concepts mentioned in the financial management course were not new to us, they have been brought back to the front of our minds and I will use the information and sheets to be sure that we never end up in this place again.

Finding this sight has been a blessing as there is so much usable information as well as so many supportive people.

bring a copy of your tax returns to the meeting. A photo ID and your social security card. If you cannot find it now is the time to visit the S/S office and get a new one. Our 341 was held up because I did not know to bring them. I had some minor changes to bring up at the meeting and it was no big deal because it did not change the outcome of the means test. Your attorney should know exactly what your trustee is going to want. Some people showed up with everything and the kitchen sink, others just came with tax returns. Those who brought everything didn't use it.

Our attorney requested all the items that he knew the local trustees would want. Some he copied and gave me back others I just let him keep. He carried a folder in with everything in it. But from reading on this forum I didn't want any unecessary delays I bought my own folder with all the same stuff with additional items like the list of what we spent our tax return on, what we spent our stimulus on, and information about he age of a 401k loan. I just wanted to have it there if he needed it. We didn't get carried away with CC statements or anything. We also received a letter from the trustee a few weeks before the 341 and all that was on there was to make sure you bring your Drivers licence and SS card. Good Luck. Dragonnfly

Do you think its possible if the trustee sees you carrying the kitchen sink up to the table that he might ask fewer questions? LOL

This is what I was told to bring to mine today:

ID
SS card
Recent bank statement
Copy of the last counseling certs
And a power of attorney(since my hubby is deployed)

My fill in attorney had my folder w/ everything else in it.

Well, I hate to beat that old dead horse, but our lawyer told us nothing. We actually brought NOTHING, except our wallets in which we did know to bring SS card and DL. Our 341 was a "piece of cake". After that the hell goes on. So far our Trustee is good to us. 'Hub
