How long does it take for a case to be closed?

I was wondering how long before my case will be closed? Was discharged June 29 2005.

If you have been "discharged" and received your papers, your case is basically really closed already. But the trustee can reopen your case for a justified reason for up to one year. So on Pacer your account will not say "case closed" until the trustee tells them it's completely closed and they will post it as such. Very seldom does a trustee re-open a case. Now if you win the lottery - he just might!! LOL

ITS OVER FOR YOU - NOW TO REBUILDING THE CREDIT SCORE AND GETTING ON WITH A NEW LIFE, NEW BEGINNING, NEW START!

REMEMBER - what you have been thru , where you are right now , and think about where you want to go in the future!!

    Good Luck

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
