    Moving abroad

Will there be any problems with the petition if I tell the trustee that I'm planning to move abroad in the near future?

I hope someone answers this. I am in the same boat--. One atty I consulted said he didn't care where I went or when, just as long as I was at my meeting, etc and had to leave forewarding address with the court. Personally, I think it looks like a planned escape. I'm probably having to go because I have no family here and have no place else to go!

It shouldn't matter, as long as you appear for the 341 meeting and leave a fowarding address, you could move to the moon, and it shouldn't effect your BK.

In fact, you don't even need to tell the trustee you are moving. All you have to do is file a Change of Address with the Bankruptcy Court Clerk.
