Has anyone ever heard of a company called First Workout Group. Supposedly this company contacts all of my creditors and negotiates lower payments and principles. They claim they are not a debt relief company but are a loan negotiation company?? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here had heard of them. They want $500 to start the process.

If they want $500.00 up front to start the process--RUN, LIKE YOU ARE RUNNING FROM THE PLAGUE!!!! They are a RIP-OFF!!!!

No I have never heard of this "group", but I guess they can all be classified as the same. I was going to go with one of these companies before I decided to file BK, but after googling "these groups", I decided against it. They are very pushy too! One thing that I read was that your cc have no obligation to "work out" something with these companies and if only a few negotiate, how this that going to benefit you? Remember, these companies want you to STOP paying on your cc's and put the money in an account...until you have enough to negotiate with...what is going to stop your cc's from garnishing your wages???
