student loans - default vs deferrment
My student loan is current, however on the web ( I pay over the internet) it shows my student loan as "in default." I am not behind, nor late. I filed for Chapter 7, have already had my 341 meeting and waiting for the next 4 - 6 weeks to pass. Should I contact the student loan lender? Leave it alone, ?

Have you been making payments even while your BK is pending. If so, contact the lender or servicer and work it out. -
Yes, I have. They might run a day or two behind. I am fully aware that I have to pay this back. My attorney was very specific on paying utilities, vehicle payments for the vehicles we were keeping and our house payment being current. What do I ask them to do?
