My 341 is scheduled for this coming Thursday (Aug. 11). I am a little nervous, but I've been completely honest about everything in my BK 7. My question is (after reading another thread) should I be worried about my lease with for my apartment? I just noticed today that it was included on the mailing matrix. I called my attorney's office today, and was told (by a legal assistant) that everything should be fine because I did not list them in the BK 7. Well, I trust that judgement, but should I be worried? I did not know that I had the option of having my apartment left off the mailing matrix. Should I contact my apartment manager? What should I say to them? I'm just worried that they will increase my rent, or force me to move out. I have children, and it just wouldn't be cool. Please help???

When you file - everyone who is a creditor is notified; even the specific ones you reaffirm with. Our bank was notified and we didn't include them for example. I think it is SOP(standard operating procedure). I think I would wait until your resident manager says something to you. Even though most apartments check credit before they will allow you to move in I have never heard of one asking you to move out because you filed BK. Good luck.
