I have an update.
I called the trustee's office and spoke with his assistant--found out the letters he sends out are incorrect (!) and she asked if I could send the pay stubs/checking acct. statements as an email attachment or fax them to their office. I'm glad I called, in that regard. (the letter says to 'bring all docs to the 341 meeting.')
I also asked about the pay stubs in that I have about 2 months worth, but am having a hard time getting copies of the rest from my employer. She suggested just notating the direct deposit amounts on the bank statements and explaining that the stubs had been requested but not received. I've also got a copy of my teaching contract for the year to send as well to prove that the amounts are accurate.
The assistant seemed helpful and reasonable; I hope this is a good sign. Like i've said, I have nothing to hide; I just want all this mess to be over with.
