Any success obtaining a transcript or recent attempts?

I'm about to attempt to get my transcript and need some positive support....or at least recent advice, from '08 about how to go about this while I'm in the process of filing chapter 7.

Okay so I'm replying to my own post!

Well I've decided to reply to my own post since no one has yet. Hopefully this will benefit someone in the future. I am in the process of obtaining my transcript. The university told me that I would still have a hold on my account but everytme I request my transcript the hold would be lifted. That works for me as I just want my transcript to transfer to another university. Wonder if the hold lifts once I'm discharged. I'll keep ME posted. LOL

Why would a school keep your transcript because you filed C7? Do you owe them money?
