Can I ask Home Depot to collect carpeting w/out filing BK.

DH and I are holding off on filing (please don't turn thread into that topic) and
we in Jan (long before we knew dh would lose his job) we recarpeted our kids' rooms and hall due to my son having allergies.

Now that HD is calling me and I don't have an attorney or plan to file soon, can I still tell home depot to just come and take back the carpeting?

The house is nearly in foreclosure, so we do not care about the carpet.

I worked for THD for a while. They won't collect the carpeting. They contract out the install too and pay the installers later. They would not want the carpeting back nor would they want to pay someone to uninstall it. You can always send them a letter to stop calling you. That would be what I would do.

I havr the same problem, my attorney says don't worry about. They won't come after you for it..

I wouldn't think they would want used carpet anyway.
