Plus they report to all 3 bureaus and life is good. I must say I'm very impressed with them! No hassels at all!

I had 3 separate cards with Capital One and I doubt those guys will give me credit for at 10 years after the discharge.

Congrats on your approval with them, just make sure you don't miss a payment. That 0% or 14.99% will instantly turn into 30%. That's written into their fine print.

I agree! I applied about a week after discharge and was approved for $1K limit, 0% until December, then 8.9% afterwards. After 3 months of on time payments, they raise my limit another $500!

I KNOW! I thought the same thing after I got it. Like "Um, a better question is where CAN I use the card?" lol

When I worked at a Doctor's Office, I heard it's because they charge higher transaction fees comparred to Visa and Mastercard.

I only talked to a few before we filed to let them know. And I talked to a few after. I didn't have a problem with any and all were top companies.

Believe it or not after 1 year of not paying anyone and over $190 K included in bk ...

The one card with the smallest balance ( Citi ) retained a law firm, sued for a judgement, went to court and won the judgement for non payment.
We owed them 8K and others were over 40K ... Go Figure !!
