How intrusive and ugly are chapter 7's in Chicago Illinois?
Are they so busy they are stamping them through or is it tough?

Can't say much about Chicago, but downstate in the Southern District it has so far been pretty easy. Filed papers then went to 341, trustee asked about 5 minutes worth of routine questions and that was that. She filed no Asset statement on 7/15/08 and I am awaiting discharge now with the last day for objections 9/09/08.
Didn't take my stimulus check or my Tax refund. To say the least I was shocked.
