    Decided to file

I wanted to thank you folks here, when I went in to the attorney I was better prepared to speak with him. Here is what we cam up with. I have to give him $300 to start the BK process. Based on some original numbers I showed him we thought I might be forced to do a chapter 13 with a 3% payback. After getting some more firm numbers and letting the month of Feb. fall off my 6 months earning I should be looking at a Chapter 7. Our medical bills are alot higher than I thought. We will be keeping my wifes car, but I think I am going to let my car go back. I owe $16K+ on it, and KBB says it is about worth that my attorney wants me to get an offer to purchase from Carmax. He wants to contact the bank were both are financed at and see if they will lower the amounts owed on both to keep from having to take them back and probably loose more money. I have switched bank accounts almost to another bank (just waiting on debit cards), and then I will call each creditor and give them my attorny's info. I was wondering I am still current on everything (for another week or so) and was wondering if I should just get a cheaper car and let my gas guzzling truck go back? I don't have any CC's with Capital One. I did, but always paid and years ago I closed it since I didn't plan on using. Would I tell Cap One that the truck is a trade in, or what?

    Thanks
    Jake
