Hello all, I have my 341 meeting in about 14 days and I just realized I forgot one of our bank accounts that my wife uses for grocery shopping. I deposit money into this account so I don't have a million entries into our regular account(easier book keeping). It used to be her account before we got married, but my name is on it! My question is can I have my lawyer amend my records this close to the 341 or am I in big trouble? I don't want the trustee to think I'm hiding something or not disclosing all information. I really just forgot this bank statement when I gave my other information to the attorney to be sent to the trustee when I first filed. I was so nervous!!! Or do I just bring it to the 341 meeting and hope he doesn't think I was trying to get away with something? Thanks in advance!!!!!-plumb

Yes you can amend Schedule B, and pray their wasn't much in that account the day you filed, because depending on where you live, it may be a non-exempt asset. Also, the attorney is going to charge you anywhere from $75 to $200 to amend.

Wow, Thanks for the quick reply!!! No there wasn't a lot in there and still isn't. I usually transfer $150 a week from my regular account into the grocery account(same bank), and its usually gone by the end of the week. I was just nervous that he would think I was hiding something, when I really wasn't!! I'll have to have him amend it then, before the 341. Thanks again!!!
