Awaiting closing

My status is currently awaiting closing. What does that mean and how soon after will my bk be complete?? Is there any kind of documents I will be receiving in the mail verifying the discharge??

You should receive the "order discharging debtor" paper to make it official or you can download off pacer if you impatient like me, after that i'm not sure if you get an official case closed paper because i'm also waiting on mine as well..

Closing is when the court finishes up its end of the paperwork....it's the official end of your case. I'm not aware of any timeframe for it to occur, but it usually happens within a short time following discharge. As for receiving paperwork, you should be getting your discharge letter in the mail, so be looking for it. By the way, if I haven't already said it, congrats on your discharge!
