Hello all!! Was just wondering I already took my pre credit counseling course before I filed bk7, but when are you supposed to take your post credit counseling course(before or after your 341 meeting)? Thanks in advance!!!-plumbob

Anywhere from 5 minutes after you file your bk(kidding) to somewhere around 45 days after your 341. It is best to do it before your 341, so as not to forget, and have your BK dismissed, which is a bad thing.

I took mine two weeks after my 341. I got bombarded with post cards from companies offering the post-bankruptcy class starting the day after my petition was filed.Comment
