So I passed the second part of the means test by $100.00. I am out in the clear for Chapter 7 as the test says or can the trustee stil force me into a Chapter 13?

I am several hundred in the negative on the J.

That is good. From what I know, on both Form 22A and Sched I/J , you want to be a 100-300 negative. My atty said that if you look "too bad" it'll raise questions.

You're probably good to go then. We were -300 on the means test and -55 on the Schedule J. We are also about 20K over the median and had no problems at our 341 on 8/4 and have a status of "awaiting closing" on Pacer.

It is a requirement that was mandated by the BK Reform that took effect in October 2005. Since you filed right before that you were not subject to it.
