LLCs & Personal BK

I am considering filing ch 7 personally. I own a LLC of which I am the single member. Are assets of the LLC not subject to the BK since those assets are now and have always been in the name of the LLC?

The problem will be, you own the LLC and any value it has may be subject to seizure by the trustee.

It depends on the nature and business of the LLC. In many areas, if the LLC is a single member LLC, authorities can disregard the corporate entity and treat the assets as if you own them personally.
