    Settlement On Property Question

Well, some may have read a previous post about the trustee wanting the property that belongs to my parents.

I am currently consulting with different atty's. None of them sound too confident. I guess they really can't!

Has anyone or does anyone know if I can make the trustee an offer.

One atty mentioned a property worth 36k, can cost 15k to litigate. He said offer the trustee 7k and ask to make payments over three months. Is this possible. I have heard that trustee want all cash up front...one time!

    Please advise.

Hi Bill If you decided to move your wildcard over to this property as I think you said in an earlier post....that would leave 16k right? After 8 % commission to sell it and the taxes which I have no idea how much they would be.....Anyway subtract everything that it would cost the trustee to sell it and thats how much you should offer. It would make it easier for the trustee to give it to you than to hassel with selling it. Also just maybe the trustee would find it cumbersome to even try to sell it. That would only be if she thinks that it would be a tough sell...Would it? Would it be easier to find a buyer? You know you and I are in the same boat on this so all this is what Im figureing out also..check out this thread..Its the part on underwater property

Anyway Im just throwing out ideas here...I also PM'd you..
