My attorney really pushed me to get it done ASAP after filing. I did it this weekend and still have 2 weeks to go before my 341. It is nice to have it out of the way.

We had our 341 on Aug 14 and the trustee did not mention the post filing class, but we plan to do it in the next couple of days. Anyone know what the deadline is?

Deadline is 45 days after 341. I would give time for it to file within that timeframe

i knew i'd seen a deadline somewhere, sure enough: the deadline is included on the B9A Form (notice to creditors). look under 'Deadlines:' section.

i filed on 7/28, my 341 was 8/29, and my deadline to complete the post-filing ed is 10/14 (to give visitors of this thread a general idea of the timeline).

We took both of ours early on in our Chapter 7 just to get it out of the way. I won't comment on the courses but I do not think it was worth the $$$.

As for the second course we went here http://www.cccsatl.org/ we are located in PA but they service other states. I'm sure if you ask your Attorney they should have a list of places that offer the course.

Our atty gave us a list of choices he wanted us to use.

You have a certain amount of time after your 341 to get the course done (45 days if I recall reading correctly, but I may be wrong, so again...don't take that beyond someone relying on memory). I did mine two weeks after my 341 and nothing was said to me. In fact when I called my attorney's office she was actually presently surprised that I completed it on my own before she sent me a reminder letter.
