    BK friendly states?

    Just curious what other would think are the states with the most favorable bk rules?

    i'm gonna say minnesota hasn't been too bad so far, and florida sounds like a horror movie.

          I guess it depends upon your situation. Florida and Texas and I guess a couple of others are actually good if the debtor is a cash poor, but wealthy individual with a 10 million dollar mansion living on a pension which is also exempt.
          These same states are bad for poor debtors with a car worth 5k and a few bucks in the bank. Other states have lower home exemptions but higher personal property exemptions.
          The essence of freedom is the proper limitation of Government
