I paid about $900 in income taxes on a credit card last year. I hear that is technically not dischargeable on a chapter 7 case? I'm just wondering if anyone has had an expirience of that nature. Thank You.

Nobody will worry about $900 but, the code is specific. Creditors can raise an objection to the dischargeability of debts like student loans or back taxes that you paid with a cc. The theory is, they would not have been discharged in the first place had they stayed the way they were. Placing them on a cc like other unsecured debt is substantial abuse and that portion of the debt can survive bk if the creditor chooses to press the issue.
