    Mortgage/

As of right right now we are behind on everything. We are filing 7 and are keeping our primary residence.

On the house we are keeping we are $614 past due on the first mortgage and $500 past due on the second.

Will this pose a problem? We will get them caught up as soon as we get the lawyer paid off, which is hopefully next week. But when we file we may be still behind a bit.

I was considering just sending them a hundred a week until current with a money order. Would that look ok? Is is better to do that or just send them a money order for the full amount?

    Thanks!

You should have some agreement from the lender. Its risky filing a chapter 7 when you are not caught up on the mortgage because there is no legal mechacnism to force the lender to allow you to get caught up. But since you are not that far behind, it will probably work out for you.

It would probably be best if you paid them off in a lump sum.
