Ok so i went on Pacer and not sure what to look for. How do I see if there is a UST assigned to my case? Or any other information besides my petition? What is the best page to go into to see charges or up to date information? I have been on it about 4 times and I see .08 charge coming up and think ok .08 but I could keep saying that and get stuck with a big bill. Is there a place to see my charges without being charged? LOL

YES there is an account place after you sign in. You can see what you owe. It is .08cents for every page you pull up, not counting the option buttons. The best place to go is History or Docket. Docket is more noteworthy and when you see the link numbers, you may save them to your hard drive to look back later than spend more money to refresh your memory. You can see who your trustee is on one of the pages and forgive me I forget what it is but it won't cost that much to go through all the sources once to get acquainted with PACER. Jesse, my understanding is that you find out there's a UST assigned to your case when you get to your 341 and there's a UST there. I've never heard of anyone getting advance notice via PACER. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure.Originally posted by jessegirl View PostOk so i went on Pacer and not sure what to look for. How do I see if there is a UST assigned to my case?
You can check on your PACER charges by selecting "Utilities"/"Review billing history", then inputting a range of dates. This doesn't cost anything.Originally posted by jessegirl View Post...Is there a place to see my charges without being charged?
You really need to read the PACER sticky: http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?t=1011, especially SinkingFast's tutorial, which covers most questions.Originally posted by jessegirl View Post...Or any other information besides my petition?
The most valuable thing I learned was that if you check the top of the "query" page, there's a string of dates, including the date of filing and something called "Date of Last Filing". Always look here first, because if this date has not changed, there's nothing to see, and no point making queries and racking up charges.Originally posted by jessegirl View Post...What is the best page to go into to see charges or up to date information? Actually you don't want to know your UST. There are two Trustees, your personal case Trustee, and then the United States Trustee that is the overall authority. You meet your personal Trustee at your 341. 'HubIf I knew it all, would I be here?? I think that's what Jesse was asking, Hub. I'll bet Happy Ira's report about his 341 spooked her.Originally posted by AngelinaCatHub View PostActually you don't want to know your UST.
